Sonia Broman is a Brooklyn-based creative, photographer, and multidisciplinary storyteller known for building evocative visual worlds that move seamlessly. She works across the United States, Mexico, and Europe. Working in photography, film, and interior spaces, her practice is rooted in crafting immersive narratives where image, motion, and environment exist in quiet conversation with one another.

With a Master’s degree in Fashion Photography from SVA and a background in Creative Advertising, Studio Art, and Film, from the University of Miami, Sonia approaches each project with both precision and intuition. Her work extends beyond the frame, directing video, shaping spatial experiences, and developing creative concepts that live across mediums with cohesion and intention.

At the core of her practice is a commitment to representation that feels lived-in, not constructed. She is currently developing an ongoing series centered on queer identity and gender expression, addressing the absence and misrepresentation she has long observed within the industry. Her ability to create trust allows her subjects to unfold naturally captured not as they are seen, but as they truly are.

Sonia has collaborated with leading global brands including Nike, Apple, Calvin Klein, Hinge,BMW, Woxer, WNBA, Billionaire Boys Club,Pelican, Aston Martin,, Coco & Breezy, and Amano Hotels. Her work has been featured in publications such as Vogue,Teen Vogue, Cultured Magazine, Highsnobiety, Rebel Magazine, Suited, Elegant Magazine, Assure Magazine, and Pancy Magazine.

Whether directing a campaign, designing a space, or capturing a fleeting moment, Sonia’s work is guided by a singular intention: to build worlds where people feel seen, held, and distinctly themselves.
